Obuaya for some time and they poured their heart, soul, skill and pure intellect into this holistic wellness center. I went for evaluation … More for my need to detox and interest in holistic medicine approach. Dr E. Obuaya did a very comprehensive intake including a very detailed assessment, labs, body scan, prescribed me a medicine regimen for cellular and colon detox . Set me up for sub-sequential office visits for detox cleansing therapies. Ultimately over the course of the month that I was able to see her I was able to immediately meet my short term goals (lose >15lbs, detox from my poor diet, and optimize my energy levels). I believe she offer a set of services that are integral to your wellness plan and would work well in adjunct to your primary care team. Of note she is a very supportive and caring provider but you have to be committed to the change as well. Do your self a big one and book a consult with her asap! Although I didn’t book any physical therapy services with Dr. G. Obuaya, he often assisted Dr. E and he is awesome. I went to see Dr. Gozi to help me get back to running after an injury. I took 2 months off from running due to a back injury and developed tight knots in my calves that would stop my runs about a mile in. In two visits I run again and … More as an added bonus, I gained ~20% improvement in my lower body range of motion. The work Dr Gozi did to loosen up and unblock my calves and hamstrings allowed me to stretch noticeably further. Dr Gozi got me running again, literally in 10 days.
I really appreciate how Dr. Gozi listened to me about why I was there and worked on a plan to get me going again. He's a very straight forward approach and skillful with his tools and trade. He even sent messages to check in on me outside of the visits. He's very personable and when it's time for your appointment, he's all yours for the duration. As you get to work with Dr. Gozi, he's got a lot of stories and experiences and he makes you feel like an old friend sharing them and listening to your own stories as he works to relieve the discomfort you're in.
This was my first experience with acupuncture and while it was a little un-nerving, slightly discomfortable at times, the outcomes were exactly what I had hoped for - functioning running legs. Thanks for getting me back to form, from only being able to run 1/4mile prior to my first visit, to finishing a 5k in 10 days from our first session!
